Your gift of a day or days will help the most vulnerable of our society. St. Andrew's has set a goal of providing safe shelter for 365 days beginning Easter Sunday, March 31, 2002.
A duplicate presentation page will be prepared for you, and the compiled book will be kept at St. Andrew's for viewing.

Book of Days for Marys Place has been progressing since April 1, 2002. To date 113 days of accommodation have been provided, and we are truly grateful. It is our hope that by March 31, 2003, we will have sponsored 365 days. You are encouraged to mark a special event in your life by purchasing a page in the Book. The Book is on display throughout the week in the main office and in Iona Hall on Sunday mornings. Please participate in this outreach project .

The church's mission is to fund a bed at Mary's Place for a year. In support of this mission, congregation members would be asked to donate $55 (the cost of a bed per day) for a day or days of their choosing, in celebration of a special event in their lives or in honour or memory of a person, until the calendar is filled. Their names and tributes or comments about why they have chosen a particular day would be recorded in a book of days that would remain with the church.
...Cumulative donations for 365 days of support would total $20,075 a significant outreach ministry for the church, a significant gift for the poorest of the poor in our community, the homeless."
