Dear Families,

We hope spring is around the corner! It is time in the St.Andrew’s church year to

invite children who are aged two (2006), in senior kindergarten (2002), grade three (1999) and grade six (1996) for a promotion event.

Each year St. Andrew’s recognizes the journey of faith our Sunday School children are traveling. In the spring we pause and celebrate theses transitions along the way. The Two year olds can join the Beginner Department in the fall, the Beginner children who are senior kindergarten will join the Masters Workshop Rotation program next year, and the grade six students are next year’s communicant members. The Grade Three children remain in the same program but have reached an age where they can read and follow their own Good News Bible, which the will receive that day. All of these are opportunities for us to reflect on the church school program and the children during a meaningful Sunday Service.

This year the church service that your child is invited to attend will be:

Sunday May 25 at 10:30 a.m.

Each child will meet in the normal church school and proceed to the church with the leaders. Families and church members will join in Iona Hall for refreshments following the service. Guests are welcome to come our coffee hour and have a cupcake too !! Everyone is welcome.
