We are a hands-on committee dedicated to providing opportunities to everyone in our congregation to learn about God and His Grace. We provide a variety of opportunities for learning through our Sunday school, youth activities, library and adult education programs to name just a few.
Our church building offers a unique setting for each of these activities. We invite you to stroll through the upper level where you will discover the Youth room, Nursery, Worship Centre, Beginner's Department and the Potters House. On the lower level you can visit the Odeon theatre, Temple and Sing Psalms room. As you wander through our halls you will experience the bible through exquisite wooden murals each depicting a much loved story. A journey through our halls will leave you feeling welcomed and inspired.
Visit the "Bookcorner", our library, in Iona Hall just to browse or to borrow a book, tape/CD or video/DVD from our vast collection of inspiring material.
We wish to express our sincere appreciation to all staff, teachers and volunteers, past and present, who have selflessly given their time and talents to share the stories of Gods great love with others.
We invite all who are interested to join us in this journey as a teacher, volunteer or learner so you can experience the joy Gods message brings to all who receive it. Let us all work together on this valuable and exciting mission. It takes a village to raise a child!
In Christ,
Your CE Committee

Opportunities for Ministry
Sunday School teacher: Teach the stories of the Bible to our children using the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum. Bible background information sessions will be held periodically throughout the year to familiarize all teachers with the lessons. The CE staff and CE committee provide full support to our teachers.
Sunday Youth programs: Mentors and leaders are needed for our Sunday morning programs for youth Grade 7 and up. Would you be available to teach a few lessons or to assist in leading discussions for 3 to 4 weeks? Maybe you have administrative gifts that you would be willing to offer occasionally or maybe you would be willing to share your faith journey with our young people.
Friday night and Special events for youth: Experience the joy of spending time with young, enthusiastic learners worshipping through sport, games, study and community.
Nursery Care, 2 & 3 Year Olds: Remember how good it feels to comfort a baby or to interact with innocent children? Why not offer to spend time with the youngest members of our family in the nursery on Sunday mornings? Maybe youd like to support our toddler teachers by "just being there" to lend a helping hand.
Be a learner: Get involved! Participate in opportunities as you are able. Remember that one of the best learning opportunities is to be a teacher! Our wish is that everyone in our church family will grow in fellowship with God and with each other.
If youd like to be a part of our team as a committee member or if you'd just like to help occasionally we'd love to hear from you. Please speak to any one of our committee members or contact the office at
