Anger is an important emotion - we all experience it sometime and it's a part of daily life. Used in a controlled manner, Anger can help us get things done. It helps us to identify things in this world that are upsetting, or unfair. Our anger can push us to do something about injustice or abuse that we see. But Anger can also be a dangerous emotion when it gets out of control. Uncontrolled anger can lead us to fight, say things we don't mean, or become abusive ourselves.
This week we read the passage from the New Testament book of James 1:19-27 that teaches us we need to be slow to anger.
