Welcome to St. Andrew's Kids!
Children’s ministry at St. Andrew’s is a fun and interactive experience where kids will learn to Love God, Love Each Other, and Love Their Neighbors. Every Sunday kids learn a little more of God’s story through interactive play, craft, drama, video, song, and even food.
Growing in faith isn’t just a Sunday morning thing though, it’s an everyday experience. It might sound a little crazy but we believe that what happens during the week at home is actually more important than what happens on the weekend at church. That’s why we’ve put together a special website just for parents filled with resources to help you lead you family and grow as a spiritual leader at home.
What to Expect When You Visit Us
Head in through any of the entrance doors and our greeters will direct you to the sanctuary where we will all worship together for a short time. the children’s area or follow the signs to downstairs. At a specified point in the service, the children will be invited to come forward for a children's story, and then be led to Sunday School. Children will remain in their Sunday School rooms until their parents, grandparents, or guardians come to pick them up. If this is your first time to St. Andrew’s, one of our children’s volunteers will greet you and your family and ask you to fill out a brief registration form (this just helps us get to know you and your child a little bit better.) At St. Andrew’s we adhere to the Leading With Care guidelines and policies set out by the Presbyterian Church in Canada. This means all of our leaders and volunteers have passed a recent background check and adhere to the Covenant of Care guidelines. During the service please feel free to come and check on your child at any time. Once the service ends, please make your way downstairs to pick up your child.

Nursery (0-3 years)
Nursery - your little ones are always welcome in our nursery! The Nursery is a safe place for babies and toddlers to play and explore while parents attend service just across the hall. There are no structured lessons in our nursery or toddler rooms, just a clean, fun, and welcoming space for children to play and explore.
Sunday Morning Kids (JK - Grade 5)
Children from JK through Grade 12 will accompany their parents, grandparents, or guardians for the beginning part of the worship service. At a specified point in the service, the children will be invited to come forward for a children's story, and then be led to Sunday School. Children from JK through Grade 5 will be led downstairs by their leaders to the Temple & Upper Room. Children from Grade 6 through 12 will be led upstairs to the Youth Room. Children will remain in their Sunday School rooms until their parents, grandparents, or guardians come to pick them up.
A typical Sunday morning might include crafts, singing, drama, science experiments, obstacle courses, special guests… but always lots of laughter and big smiles.
Thursday Night Kids Club
Kids Club on Thursday nights is where kids learn to live out God’s love every day. We use the 252 Kids Curriculum from Orange and the kids absolutely love it! Every lesson can be broken down to the most basic life goals: Love God and Love Others. Kids club is big, loud, and messy. It's also full of the most accepting and loving group of kids you'll ever meet and this makes it super easy to bring friends.
Kids Club meets during the school year on Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Experiance Family Night
Church doesn't always have to be somber and serious - sometimes it's loud and disruptive! That's why we created our Family Night Experience. On the last Sunday of the month we open the gym for silly games, crafts, and family time. Every event is a little different with themes like Minions Take Over, Weird & Wacky Hallowe’en, and Hockey Night at St. A’s. Every event includes food, fun, and a casual family service with our Youth & Young Adults band.
4:30 p.m. - Activities in the gym
5:30 p.m. - Casual Family Service
6:00 p.m. - Dinner
All of our Family XPs are free but if you’d like to donate to the cause we have a free will box out during dinner.
Do you have a question about one of our environments? Or maybe you'd like a little more info about planning your visit. Just fill out the form below and we'll send it straight to our Christian Education Coordinator.
