Plus, come a little earlier and enjoy a sandwich lunch available for purchase beginning at 11:30 a.m. Admission to the building is free, and all are welcome and encouraged to come out.

About Shahrizal Kamal

Shahrizal Kamal is a doctoral student in saxophone performance at Western University, studying with Dr. Bobbi Thompson. He finds great joy in sharing music through both performance and teaching. He has performed across Asia and North America with ensembles including the Philharmonic Winds of Malaysia, Apricity Quartet, and the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, and was the winner of the 2023 Malaysian Wind Music Prize. A dedicated woodwind instructor and saxophone clinician, he regularly works with individuals and groups of all ages and levels within the London community. Shahrizal holds a Master’s degree in Saxophone Performance from Northwestern University, where he studied with Taimur Sullivan.

About Sing Yuan Lieu

Sing Yuan Liew is a Doctoral Candidate in Piano Performance at Western University, studying under Dr. Kyung Kim. She performs regularly as a solo and chamber pianist across Asia and North America. She serves as a collaborative pianist with the Western University Singers and within the Don Wright Faculty of Music. As an experienced collaborator, she has worked with a wide range of instrumentalists, singers, and choirs, and remains an active musical partner in the London and Greater Toronto Area communities. Sing Yuan holds a Bachelor of Music from UCSI University, where she studied with Jaz Tan, and a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Literature from Western University, where she studied with Tina Yanchus.
