Children’s ministry at St. Andrew’s, is a fun and interactive experience where kids will learn to Love God, Love Each Other, and Love Your Neighbors. Every Sunday kids learn a little more of God’s story through interactive play, craft, drama, video, song and even food.

Growing in faith isn’t just a Sunday morning thing though, it’s an everyday experience. It might sound a little crazy but we believe that what happens during the week at home is actually more important than what happens on the weekend at church. That’s why we’ve put together a special website just for parents filled with resources to help you lead you family and grow as a spiritual leader at home.

What to Expect When You Visit Us

Head in through any of the entrance doors and our greeters will direct you to the children’s area or follow the signs to downstairs. When you arrive, one of our children’s volunteers will greet you and your family and ask you to fill out a brief registration form (this just helps get to know you and your child a little bit better). At St. Andrew’s we adhere to the Leading With Care guidelines and policies. This means all of our leaders and volunteers have passed a recent background check, and adhere to the covenant of care guidelines.  During the service please feel free to come and check on your child at any time. At about 10:45AM the children and their leaders will enter the service and sit at the front of the worship space. There will be a brief children’s time with Rev. Mark or Rev. Greg and then a final hymn. Once the service ends please make your way to the front of the sanctuary to pick up your child.

Nursery – Little lambs ages 0 - 36mths are welcome in The Nursery, a safe place for babies and toddlers to play and explore while parents attend service just across the hall. Sunday Morning Kids

Children from JK through Grade 5 meet downstairs in the Temple & UpperRoom. Join us any time after 9:30am for free play (parents can grab a coffee from our coffee cart station). At 10:00AM we bring all of the kids together for a high energy group time that lasts about 10 minutes. Next we send everyone to their small groups for age appropriate learning and discovery. At 10:45AM the children and their leaders will join the rest of the church family in the service.

A typical Sunday morning might include craft, singing, drama, science experiments, obstacle courses, special guests… but always lots of laughter and big smiles.

Thursday Night Kids Club

Kids Club on Thursday nights is where kids learn to live out God’s love every day. This year we’re going to tackle a few issues that kids face every day: bullying, using tech safely, self-esteem, trying new things, failure, fitting in, parents, and fear. We’ll look at these issues through a biblical lens and see how everything comes down to two things: Love God, and Love Others. Kids club is big, loud, and messy. It's also full of the most accepting and loving group of kids you'll ever meet and this makes it super easy to bring friends.

Kids Club meets during the school year on Thursdays from 6:30pm – 8:30PM

Experiance Family Night

MinionsFN81.JPG

Church doesn't always have to be somber and serious - sometimes it's loud and disruptive! That's why we created Family Night XP. On the last Sunday of the month we open the gym silly games, crafts and family time. Every event is a little different with themes like Minions Take Over, Hallowe’en Weird & Wacky, and Hockey Night at St. A’s but every event includes food, and fun and a casual family service with our Youth & Young Adults band.

  • 4:30PM – Activities in the gym
  • 5:30PM – Casual Family Service
  • 6:00PM – Dinner

All of our Family XPs are free but if you’d like to donate to the cause we have a free will box out during dinner.
