About Director Darielle Chomyn-Davison

Originally from Prince Edward County, in 2013 Darielle fully embarked on her singing journey in Sault Ste. Marie. She followed her theatrical passions and earned her BA under the guidance of Agnes McCarthy and coach Paul Dingle. Since residing in Kitchener-Waterloo she has earned her bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance from WLU (23), with the support of Leslie Fagan and coach Lorin Shalanko. Darielle has a strong foundation in classical technique, but brings other genres such as music theatre, jazz, and pop into her teaching style. Having over a decade plus of theatrical experience on stage, Darielle brings an enthusiastic and holistic approach to singing, in the hopes that everyone will feel comfortable and authentic in their sound and body.

In addition to her passion for performing on stage and her love for her two cats, Kili and Fili, Darielle is continuing her vocal pedagogy education with Dr. Elizabeth Lepock, and offers online voice lessons from her home, as well as studios in Kitchener and Oakville. Recently, she participated as a chorus member in Brott Opera’s production of Verdi’s La Traviata last summer, and debuted the role of Miles in Grand River Opera’s rendition of Britten’s The Turn of the Screw, last fall. Darielle is eagerly anticipating making beautiful music with incredible artists this summer!
